this was a demo i made, and it shows what scale harmony can do to a simple little idea. its very plain until the guitars layer up and then the solo hits….
plan to make a video for it one day when i can record
okay this is a major riff piece in b minor. the first thing i did when i got my seven string was record this lol
anyway, its basically a riff and a solo but i find the percussion of the rhythm to be pleasing and that solo sounds likes its straight off a guitar album
i think this qualifies as guitar wankery, don’t you?
a little guitar solo based on the moonlight sonata!!!
classical compositions, unlike modern day guitar, are more adventurous in their undertaking and seem to walk the line between simply “major” and “minor” tonalities
this is the piece is the same way. the solo stays minor a majority of the time but the rhythm behind it moves around
